With the news of the prior day’s tragic events, the motorsport community came together and set up a fundraiser for the marshals affected in this incident.
An emotional one-minute silence was held before the track action commenced with many cars opting to run an orange heart as a mark of respect to the fallen marshal.
The incredibly brave drivers and marshals got proceedings underway in what was a successful day filled with great racing. A great send-off to this awful weekend.
