Masters Endurance - Silverstone Classic

My first visit to the Silverstone Classic was one not to forget. The Masters Endurance in particular featured a spectacular array of sportcars from the 2000’s right up to current spec LMP3 cars.

Steve Tandy ran away with the first race in his Peugeot 90X before being demoted to second after a post race penalty. Jamie Constable therefore clinched victory in his Pescarolo LMP1.

Race 2 meanwhile went the way of Timothy De Silva after a titanic last lap battle with Michael Lyons saw him pass the IMSA Mazda at the final corner. However, he did so off the track and therefore was pushed back to second gifting the win to Lyons in the IMSA Mazda from 2015.
