This turned out to be quite a busy meeting as the British Truck Racing Championship headlined the bill for this weekend’s activities. Alongside the trucks was the British Endurance Championship for their penultimate round of the season.
Hugo Cook once again took pole and looked set for victory but a multitude of pitstop time penalties scuppered any chance of clinching a debut outright victory. Instead, fellow Mercedes pairing of Wayne Marrs / Tom Jackson took victory to enter the final round just two points behind the outright championship-leading Ferrari 458 Challenge of Chis Compton-Goddard / Charlie Hollings.
