The 2022 British Endurance Championship concluded in dramatic fashion as the points lead changed with just 5 minutes to go!
Wayne Marrs / Tom Jackson clinched the lead after a plethora of pit-stop penalties but despite their efforts, Chris Compton-Goddard / Charlie Hollings still held the lead in class in their Ferrari 458 and therefore the overall points lead. However, Marcus Clutton was having none of it and wanted to end the season with another class victory. This class just so happened to be the same as the Ferrari pairing and with just 5 minutes to go, he made his move into the Fogarty Esses, demoting the Ferrari back into second.
With Marrs / Jackson still leading, this clinched them the title by just a solitary point.
